Two interchangeable systems make it possible to fill the slit either with gravel, or of sand with then compaction. The two adaptations are easy to attach to the lower part of the HOPPER. The HOPPER can be filled in hover or fed moving from a vehicle charger or by any other suitable method.

The gravel is set up at the depth necessary and controlled by a rigging bar. The double shutter water seal cuts off the supply of material at the end of each course when the HOPPER is raised out of the trench.
